Uploading
your pictures
HDPIXEL will automatically process the files and create thumbnails
(small images) which people can click on to view the full
size image.
It is recommended that you gather all of your files in your
computer and categorize them into different folders. So you
will have a folder somewhere containing files that you scanned
or downloaded from a digital camera. Our upload utility will
ask you where the file(s) is/are that you wish to upload.
For faster upload and creation of albums, you can use JALBUM
to create the big picture of the album to (scale down the
picture if you own a 3 MEGAPIXEL or greater digital camera)
600pixel in width x 400pixel in height, ZIP the pictures and
upload all of them as a ZIP file. The zip file can be as big
as 2MB which can fit 46 pictures at one time.
A)In the top right of the gallery menu, click on Upload
Photos
B) Select your personal album where
the pictures are going to be displayed, browse in your local
computer for the picture or the zip file
that contains the images.
If uploading one image at a time, enter
a title (if left blank, the title becomes the file name),
describe words to help you and other members to find your
picture (optional), photo description (optional). Click on
the Upload/Submit button.
If uploading a ZIP file, leave everything
blank as the system will give you a chance to enter the information
for each picture in later steps.

Premium accounts with FTP feature can choose JALBUM
or any ftp client of their choice to upload pictures.
